Terms of Service

Purpose

These Terms govern the conditions and procedures for using the portfolio analysis service provided by DIVA Quantizer ("the Site"), as well as the rights and obligations of users and the operator.

Nature of the service

The Site is an educational / analytical tool based on academic models (Markowitz, Fama–French, HRP, etc.). It is not:

• an investment advisory, discretionary management, or brokerage business under the Korean Financial Investment Services Act
• a solicitation to buy or sell any specific security or portfolio
• a promise or guarantee about future returns, losses, or market direction

Eligibility

Anyone can use the Site without signing up, and use is at your own responsibility. Users under 14 may not use the service without parental consent.

Prohibited conduct

• Illegal conduct, or conduct that disrupts the operation of the Site
• Generating abnormal traffic or analysis requests through automated means
• Reproducing, distributing or commercially exploiting Site content without authorization
• Reverse engineering or attempts to exploit security vulnerabilities

Intellectual property

All rights in the Site's design, code, text, graphics, UI and other content belong to the operator. Material that explicitly cites academic sources (Markowitz 1952, Fama–French 1993 / 2015, López de Prado 2016, etc.) belongs to the respective authors.

Limitation of liability

All analysis results are statistical estimates based on historical market data. The Site is not responsible for:

• Direct or indirect investment losses arising from your use of analysis results
• Errors, delays or outages of external data sources (yfinance, Kenneth French Library, Korea Exchange, DART, Bank of Korea, etc.)
• Temporary service interruption, data loss, or network failures

You must treat results as reference material only. Before making any investment decision, review your risk tolerance, investment goals, taxes and liquidity comprehensively, and we recommend consulting a qualified financial professional.

Advertising

The Site may serve advertising via third-party networks such as Google AdSense to cover operating costs. We do not directly provide ad content; responsibility for transactions or disputes arising through ads rests with the respective advertiser.

Service changes and termination

After prior notice, we may modify, suspend, or terminate part or all of the service. We are not liable for any resulting inconvenience to users except where required by law.

Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are interpreted under the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any dispute arising from use of the service is subject to the competent court of first instance under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.

Amendments

These Terms may be revised when laws or service policies change. We will post the changes and effective date on this page when revisions occur.
